Sankta Lucia Celebration

Celebrate the Swedish tradition marking the return of light in the darkness of winter. Afternoon workshops: make Danish woven heart baskets and fragrant orange pomanders; color Dala Horse drawings; shape lussekatter (traditional saffron Lucia buns); learn traditional Swedish Lucia songs (required for participation in the evening ceremony).

3:00 Afternoon craft and song workshops (children must attend workshops to participate in procession)
5:30 Potluck followed by candlelit procession with Lucia ceremony and dancing.

Afternoon & Evening admission: $12 adults, $10 seniors & teens, $8 kids  (under 5 admitted free).
Evening only: $8 adults, $6 seniors & teens, $4 kids (under 5 admitted free).
