• About us

  •

The Mount Horeb Area Chamber of Commerce is composed of two full-time and one part-time staff members. We are each passionate about serving the community and helping our members be successful to the best of our ability.

In the past several years, the Mount Horeb Area Chamber of Commerce has taken a deep dive into operating the organization on a more strategic level. This has included taking a look at all of the Chamber activities, processes, and back office procedures. Many things have been changed or revamped. The result has been a more efficient and well-structured chamber, and growth.

The growth that we have seen is not taken lightly. We see each one of our members as valuable partners in assisting in the economic well-being of our community. Whether a small business, or a large corporation, we look forward to working with everyone to help make a collective impact in your businesses and in the community as a whole.

With three staff members, our volunteers and ambassadors, and the efficiencies we have created internally, we are positioned to meet the needs of our members better than ever. The benefits that we are able to offer our members continue to expand and we are constantly looking for ways to maintain relevancy in an ever-changing world.

  • Mission Statement

The mission of the Mount Horeb Area Chamber of Commerce is to promote the economic well-being of all member businesses as well as to enhance the image of Mount Horeb as a great place to live, work and visit.

    Our Four Cornerstones

    Exposure

The Chamber is not only a membership organization, but we are also the destination marketing organization for the Village of Mount Horeb. We host many of your favorite large community events, including the Annual Art Fair, Thirsty Troll Brew Fest, and Fall Village Market. Whether we are marketing the community to a regional audience, providing sponsorship opportunities at our large events, or communicating directly to the Mount Horeb community, we offer many ways for you to reach these audiences.

    Education

The Chamber provides educational opportunities throughout the year. We focus on topics relevant to you and your employees. Some of our topics include marketing, operational efficiencies, employee recruitment and retention, and creating a positive corporate culture.

    Network Development

The Chamber provides networking opportunities so you can get out and grow your network. Whether you are looking to meet new people or strengthen your existing relationships, networking opportunities, such as our Business After Hours and our Member Meet-Ups, provide an opportunity to stay engaged with other chamber members and the larger business community.

    Advocacy

The Chamber maintains strong partnerships with other community pillars. We keep a finger on pulse of politics and legislative changes, from local to state-wide to national levels. Our Business Advocacy Committee is committed to providing information, education, and advocacy on behalf of our member businesses and our community.
