Mount Horeb, WI [October 2022] – Mound City Bank recently celebrated a remodel of their Mount Horeb location with a ribbon cutting ceremony. In attendance were members of the bank’s board of directors, vendors who contributed to the project, village board members and staff, as well as ambassadors and other members of the Mount Horeb Area Chamber of Commerce.
The bank’s president, Donna Hoppenjan, welcomed attendees and thanked the many contractors who helped bring the remodel to life, including the general contract Premier Building Solutions. Hoppenjan also thanked her the branch manager, Sarah Frisch, and her employees for their efforts and patience during the remodel process. Finally, Hoppenjan thanked the Mount Horeb Chamber for their continued support through the years. The Mount Horeb branch was opened in 2007 and Mound City Bank has been an active member and supporter of the chamber since then. Sarah Frisch has served on the chamber board of directors in the past, and business banking officer Stephen McCardell is a member of the chamber’s ambassador club.
“We are so excited to celebrate this remodel with Mound City Bank,” says Rachel LaCasse-Ford, executive director of the chamber. “They have always been wonderful partners of ours and great community collaborators, and we thank them for continuing to serve our community.”
The Mount Horeb branch remodel includes the lobby and offices, as well as back areas and their downstairs meeting space, which is available for rent. The community is invited to stop in and see the remodel at 1100 Springdale St., Mount Horeb, during their open hours.
