PFLAG Mt. Horeb held a Banned Book Reading event at Brix Cider on Sunday, April 14. Three frequently challenged or banned children’s books were read. In addition, local author Alex Bledsoe, and the Founder and Executive Director of Madison’s Reading Project spoke. Madison’s Reading Project provided free books to children and teachers who attended the event. Over 75 community members were in attendance.
On March 7th, 2024, the Mount Horeb Area Chamber of Commerce hosted its highly anticipated 6th Annual Awards Dinner at Martinson Hall at Buck & Honey's, where 130 esteemed guests gathered to celebrate the outstanding achievements of local businesses and individuals. Max is the Quarter Back for the Green Bay Blizzard Pro Indoor Football Team. The trip is free.
