    Gempler's
    Job Description
    Who is Gemplers?
Farm and Home direct business that supports businesses and consumers across the United States. Carrying some of the best brands you know (Carhartt, DeWalt, YETI, Patagonia, Columbia, Makita) and some that you should. We have a proud history of finding commercial grade products and we love serving customers. We believe Gemplers is a phenomenal alternative to the big box / conglomerates. Customers can purchase on our website or call and talk to one of our friendly midwestern customer service folks. We are very proud of our 81-yearold heritage and we are in the midst of an exciting chapter as we are once again family owned and fiercely independent!

    Where do we need help?
We’ve come a long way since Bill Gempler started his Monroe, Wisconsin tire business in 1939 making easy mobile repairs for farmers. We now sell over 25K items out of our warehouse in Janesville and have hundreds of thousands of customers who depend on us to deliver the goods. In January of 2019, we also opened a small office in Mt Horeb above the post office. We are looking for a Systems Project and Process Manager to join our team and help build our brand. This person will lead and oversee all systems and technology. We don’t need a technical expert or a coder but rather someone that understands how our systems co-exist and mesh together and how we can improve. This person would help us identify the road map to improve our systems, they would be on the front line of trouble shooting systems when there are issues, and they would lead, and project manage all systems related projects. This person would manage and hold our various partners accountable as well as ensure that internally we are properly planning and executing.

    What are we looking for?
We need a motivated self-starter, with great attention to detail, who can take a project and lead us through it from beginning to end. We need someone who isn’t afraid to hold people accountable to ensure projects are finished accurately, on time and on budget. We need someone with excellent communication skills to keep all parties informed – internally and externally. And we need someone that will continue to drive Gemplers forward with the best solutions, services, and processes. If these are things that get you excited, we want to talk with you!
