Mount Horeb Public Library Hiring a Limited Term Employment  Half-Time Frontline Librarian  

Are you passionate about connecting people with information, resources, and community? Do you thrive in a service-oriented environment where every day is a little different? The Mount Horeb Public Library is seeking a friendly, energetic, and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Half-Time Frontline Librarian (LTE).

As the “face of the library,” you’ll be on the front lines of patron service—assisting visitors at both the Circulation and Help Desks. We're looking for someone who shines in customer service, communicates effectively, and can confidently juggle multiple tasks while providing thoughtful support to library users.

• Outgoing, approachable, and service-oriented
• Strong multitasking abilities
• Comfortable with technology and eager to help patrons use it
• Flexible and willing to adapt to the library’s staffing needs
• Enjoys working evenings and occasional Saturdays

Weekly Schedule Starting July 1, 2025 and ending December 31, 2025 :  

• Wednesday: 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM
• Thursday: 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM
• Friday: 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Plus one Saturday per month

This is a Limited Term Employment opportunity ideal for someone looking to engage with the community and make a real impact in a vibrant public library setting.  Work approximately 20 hours per week. This position is not benefit eligible. Wage will start at $20.87 Hourly.
