Location: Mount Horeb infusion clinic
Work Type: Part-time with opportunity for growth
Standard Hours: 20.00 depending on workflow
Work Shift: 0830-1600 flex hours Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays.
Salary Range
$14 – $18/hour and 20% discount on services
Responsibilities
- Patient Care; greeting, escorting patients into clinic.
- Must have empathy, caring, and nurturing personality.
- Experience in multiple social media platforms with scheduling posts, reels, videos, and blog writing.
- Document patient information into the electronic health record.
- Must have excellent communication and collaboration skills. Act as a liaison between patients, providers, and other clinicians.
- Ability to work in stressful conditions and difficult situations.
- Detail oriented, resilient and flexible in a changing environment.
- Ability to cooperate and work with others.
- Perform routine testing within the scope of Certified Medical Assistant such as height, weight, vitals
- Clean exam chairs/areas, ensures proper supplies are available, and demonstrates safe use of equipment related to patient care.
- Maintain infection control measures with all patient contact. Always comply with standards of Infection Control and Quality Improvement per Policies and Procedures.
- Promotes a safe and efficient working environment by adhering to safe equipment handling and supply handling per Policies and Procedures at all times.
- Collect specimens for testing, including lab draws (phlebotomy).
- Ability to obtain intravenous access, intramuscular injections, and subcutaneous injections under supervision of DNP/RN (willing to train).
- Assist with drawing up medications/vitamins/minerals under supervision of DNP/RN.
- Immediately reports all incidents, irregularities, unsafe conditions, equipment and/or unusual occurrences to Management.
- Review patient schedule with health care team and plan for clinical day.
- Demonstrates knowledge of age-appropriate care.
- Consistently responds to patient and family members concerns in a prompt, courteous and professional manner. Directs inquires, complaints or problems to appropriate resource.
- Assure patients have safe discharge from Infusion area.
- Performs other duties as required.
- Duties require some manual skills, motor coordination, and finger dexterity. Ability to perform lifting/transfer activities related to patients as needed, ability to stoop/bend.
- Ability to make sound and timely decisions and ability to work rotating shifts any day of the week.
