Italian Food Tour: This class explores the variety of foods from this beautiful country. We will create foods that are typically not part of the Americanized version of Italian food. The menu includes Insalata di Arance e Finocchi, Tortini di Polenta e Funghi, Cappellacci di Zucca con Sugo di Burrde Salvia, Panna Cotta for dessert. The English translation is Orange and Fennel Salad, Polenta and Mushroom Antipasti, Squashed Stuffed Ravioli with a Sage Butter Sauce and panna cotta (directly translates to cooked cream). Then we will all sit down together and enjoy a meal. BYOD (Bring your own drink)
About Chef Cena's Cooking Classes: All classes are at Adamah Art Studios Retreat Center. Participants will learn techniques, prepare and partake in a meal together afterward. Participants are welcome to bring in their own drink. There will also be lemonade and some appetizers at the beginning of the class. The participants will receive the recipes of all the foods taught in the class to take home with them. The class is designed for adults but will take kids starting at the age of 13 if they also have an interest in learning and cooking. The minimum number of people for a class is six. The maximum number of people is 15. Please register in advance.
