    Event Description:

    Watch the stars in an area with less light pollution. Cave of the Mounds is located on the south slope of the East Blue Mounds. Blue Mounds is the highest point in Southern Wisconsin. With a short 20-minute drive west of Madison, Cave of the Mounds is a great place to look up at the stars.

     

    Bring your telescope and a warm outfit and watch the stars! We will have our resident astronomer onsite to answer questions and point things out. Hot beverages and a fireplace will be available in the Visitor Center.

     

    Weather permitting, we will be having an after-hours Astronomy Night on April 19th, 2023 from 7 PM - 9 PM. Admission is $5 per person.
